What is PhalloFILL®?

PhalloFILL® is a proven procedure involving a series of dermal filler injections over a span of 2 or more separate sessions to obtain the patients desired penile girth. The dermal filler used to expand the diameter of the penis is similar and therefore cohesive with the existing anatomical tissue in the penis and therefore gives a natural looking girth enhancement.

We use a hyaluronic acid filler that is free of additional agents or foreign filler materials. Hyaluronic acid is naturally occurring in the body and widely used in aesthetic medicine.

One of the key benefits of this approach is reversibility. If you are dissatisfied with your results, we can safely dissolve the filler with a reversal agent — eliminating the need for surgical intervention.

What Happens During the PhalloFILL® Enhancement?

After careful consultation with the trained and credentialed PhalloFILL® provider, a patient will first be given a local anesthetic around the desired injection area to prevent any discomfort or pain during the procedure. The injector will then perform a series of dermal filler injections, injecting a total volume of 4 to 6 units of filler per session depending on the patient’s anatomy. Additional units may be injected at the providers discretion for larger anatomies. Once injected, patients are fitted for a compression garment to be worn throughout the treatment process. It is important to refrain from sex and self-pleasuring for 7 – 10 days or as determined by the provider based on your individual anatomy.

How Much Bigger Will I Get?

Most patients are comfortable with an increase of approximately ¾ inch to 1 inch in diameter.

However, your results are fully customizable. Every patient has unique anatomy and aesthetic goals, which is why we prefer to discuss options during a consultation to determine what best suits your needs.

The average flaccid penis is 3.5 – 4 inches in girth. Many men would like to reach 5 – 6 inches flaccid.

Does PhalloFILL® Increase the Length of My Penis?

No. There is an illusion in some of the before and after photos on our website that there IS an increase in length, but in reality you simply have less “shrinkage” after the PhalloFILL® enhancement therefore you maintain a “fuller length” when flaccid. Research shows that the only safe and effective way to lengthen the penis is with “stretching” or traction using a penile extender device or stretcher such as the Phallosan® which you can use at home. Phallosan® exerts gentle tension to the penis. A few small studies have reported length increases of a 1/2 inch to nearly 2 inches using devices such as this.

Surgical methods for lengthening the penis such as separation of the suspensory ligament is risky and often ineffective. The surgery can result in complications such as infection, scarring, and loss of sensation or function. Often the ligament reattaches and causes a retraction of the penis from tissue scarring which can cause the length to actually decrease after surgery.

Are There Any Precautions I Should Take After the Enhancement?

Yes, although the actual procedure is rather painless, there will be moderate bruising and possible swelling around the injection sites that should be completely resolved within two weeks from your treatment. The penis will be wrapped in a compression garment and the patient may return to normal daily activities immediately following the treatment. Patients should NOT engage in any sexual activities including self-pleasuring for about 1 week following each treatment as determined by your provider. Engaging in sexual activity sooner or failure to follow the post-treatment care as directed may result in migration of the dermal filler which can lead to poor aesthetic outcomes and other complications. Patients should note that every penis is different and due to the expansion and retraction of the penis, irregularities may occur initially, especially in the flaccid state. This is normal, and any irregularities can be addressed during subsequent treatments as the filler is layered into place.

Should I Be Concerned About Filler Migration?

During the PhalloFILL® Enhancement, even and symmetrical columns of filler will be laid along the shaft from the base to the head of your penis for an overall increase in girth. The columns can be laid thicker or thinner in different areas if your goal is to correct irregularities in your natural anatomy. Once the filler has been placed, you will be fitted for a compression garment that will be worn to keep the penis extended and the filler in place while the encapsulation and bonding process takes place with your existing collagen and elastin in your natural tissue. Once bonded, the filler remains in place offering durable and natural results. Limited lymphatics in the pocket the filler is placed allows it to last considerably longer than other areas of your body. While Hyaluronic Acid and other fillers bond to your natural tissue, they are not indestructible and can shift over time depending on the care, sexual lifestyle, and metabolism of filler which varies by patient.

Where is the filler placed?

Our goal is to provide a larger penis with a natural cosmetic appearance.

While some practitioners inject filler into the head of the penis, we do not recommend or provide that service. The head has a different tissue composition than the shaft, and we believe avoiding injection in this area leads to more consistent and natural-looking results.

We inject filler into the shaft on both sides to increase diameter based on your individual goals.

Some patients notice the appearance of added length after treatment. However, we are not lengthening the penis. This visual effect occurs because the weight of the filler may allow the penis to hang slightly lower.

Some patients are also interested in enlarging their testicles. This procedure is referred to as Scrotox, which can be performed in conjunction with filler treatment. For Scrotox, we use Botox rather than filler to achieve the desired result.

Do You Offer the P-Shot?

Yes. The P-Shot may provide benefits for erectile dysfunction, penile rejuvenation, scar tissue, and curvature.

How Does PhalloFILL® Last So Long in the Penis for Girth Enhancement but Hyaluronic Acid (Ha) Filler Only Lasts Up to 12 Months in the Face?

The technique that lead to the development of the PhalloFILL® enhancement leverages a space between two compact layers of connective tissue or fascia. Our enhancement creates a pocket within these layers of fascia that holds the filler. Limited lymphatics and blood flow within this pocket is what allows the filler to last considerably longer than hyaluronic acid filler injections in the face. The face is full of lymphatics and blood flow so the filler often breaks down within 1 year. The same principles apply to the glans or “head” of the penis which due to vascularity will often break down hyaluronic acid filler over the course of several months, whereas the pocket along the shaft allows the same fillers to last for several years.
