What is BOCOX?

BOCOX combines platelet-rich plasma (PRP) with carefully placed Botox to support vascular performance and smooth muscle relaxation.

How Does BOCOX Work?

Erection quality is closely tied to blood flow to the penis. During sexual arousal, blood floods the penis, enabling sexual performance. When blood flow is restricted, achieving or maintaining an erection can become difficult, which is a common cause of ED.

BOCOX addresses this issue by improving blood flow to the penis. This minimally invasive treatment involves injecting 50 units of neurotoxin into each side of the corpus cavernosum in the penis. These injections relax the muscles of the corpus cavernosum, enhancing the penis’s ability to fill with blood.

By using 100 units of neurotoxin, the smooth muscles in the penis relax, leading to better blood flow and improved erection quality. To further improve results, additional PRP shots may be used.

Neurotoxin helps relax the smooth muscle that controls blood flow in the penile arteries. As these muscles relax, the arteries widen, allowing more blood to enter, thus enhancing erection quality and potentially promoting overall penile health.

Furthermore, neurotoxin can influence the axons that control the tissue, which may enhance parasympathetic activity, contributing to stronger erections.

Why is Botox and PRP used together?

The idea behind Bocox is to combine these two complementary approaches:

Botox to reduce excessive muscle contraction, often responsible for mechanical erectile dysfunction.
PRP to stimulate tissue repair and regeneration, improving overall erection quality.

This combination could offer a more comprehensive treatment, targeting several possible causes of erectile dysfunction.

Does it increase size?

This treatment is not designed for permanent size enhancement. It is intended to support function, circulation, and performance optimization. However, BOCOX can enlarge the flaccid penis by maintaining better blood flow in the non-erect state.

When Will BOCOX Results Be Visible?

The effects of BOCOX injections will begin to show over the course of several days, with the full results typically visible after about six weeks. The neurotoxin needs time to work on the targeted muscles.

The effects of BOCOX generally last around six months, although this can vary based on how quickly an individual’s body metabolizes the neurotoxin. PRP benefits may vary. Maintenance protocols are discussed individually.

Is it painful?

There is minimal to no discomfort during this procedure, and with the use of prescription-strength numbing cream, patients typically experience little to no downtime.

Who is a Good Candidate for BOCOX?
